Digital Payments

At SKOHO, Digital is our nerve system. We are a D2C brand and when it comes to Payment Solutions, consumers have a wide variety of payment options be it UPI, Net Banking, Credit or Debit Cards. Being a Digital first company, we don’t encourage usage of COD. Yes, we don’t have COD. But we have a lot more.

Let’s first talk about why we don’t have a COD option:

  1. Sustainability: We are deeply aligned with Sustainability at our core. We already have done a lot and have some more stuff to do, but every action of ours is keeping in mind the impact we are creating for our environment. In the Order fulfillment process, people tend to see only the carbon emissions to fulfill the delivery. But, as you see, cash handling is also a big carbon guzzler. While cash itself doesn't produce carbon emissions, the process of handling cash involves various activities such as printing, transportation to banks, and ATM replenishment, which contribute to carbon emissions. Thus, if you are looking for clean beauty and sustainability, oops, Cash is never on the table!
  2. Delays in Order Fulfillment Due to Cash unavailability at times: COD requires consumers to have cash ready at the time of delivery, which can be inconvenient, especially if they don't have the exact amount or need to withdraw cash from an ATM. This leads to inconveniences for our consumers
  3. Limited Availability: For COD collections, brands like ours are dependent on shipping partners, and not every pincode is eligible for COD transactions

 So what we have done is:

  1. The first thing we do is to ASSURE our customers that we have a Return policy published on our website. A consumer TRUST is an underline code for us. Only with the intent of ensuring TRUST for you, we made all our products COSMOS Certified, which is the world's most stringent certification.
  2. Secondly, we have not kept 5% off for every pre-paid order, unlike most of the other brands that do so. For us, why do only a select few get the privilege of a better rate? We work relentlessly hard to keep our rates down and roll out timely discount offers, keeping our customers satisfied
  3. We offer FREE SHIPPING. Yes, you saw it right. Every order, irrespective of the order value, is shipped free. A shipping fee is generally 7–8% for most brands. So in a way, instead of offering 5% to a select few, we are offering 7-8% off to everyone
  4. The best part is that we only use Tier-1 shipping partners like Blue Dart or Delhivery for the best Consumer experience. In addition, we will probably be one of the few brands that ships our products by AIR (for pincodes greater than 200 km and that are serviceable by AIR). It is not an option; it is a MUST for us
